Who are MACK EVENTS?

We are a family run, established professional events company based in Barry, South Wales. 

Our mission is: 

"To create exciting and interesting events that benefit our local community, 

attract visitors to the local area and ultimately put a smile on people's faces."

GlastonBARRY Timeline

September 2013 - The first GlastonBARRY Festival takes place - approx 600 capacity 

July 2014 - We move the festival to Romilly Park, Barry

July 2019 - The festival grows over 5 years from a one day, 500 capacity event, up to a 3 day event welcoming around 14000 guests over the weekend.  

August 2019 - GlastonBARRY Festival won ‘Community Event of the Year’ - Bro Radio Awards

2020 & 2021 - Festival postponed due to Covid 

July 2022 - After a very difficult 2 years, the festival returns!

April 2023 - Mack Events won 'South Wales Events Company of the year’ in the UK Enterprise Awards

July 2023 - was our 10 year anniversary, GlastonBARRY 2023 was a huge success, attracting 

around 18,000 visitors to Barry over the weekend
